Introduction
The legacy scientific framework relies on a persistent sleight of hand: it treats the universe as a detached object waiting to be cataloged while completely erasing the coordinates of the Observer doing the cataloging. The Cosmocurious post exemplifies this model-object confusion, asserting that nature has no obligation to match human intuition, thereby framing human awareness as an evolutionary flaw isolated from cosmic reality.
When a research scientist stepped in to defend this dogma by claiming reality is "yet to be elucidated" by institutional tools, the ensuing exchange put the Universal Principle of Collapse (UPC) into direct, real-time action. By dropping the invariant anchor key, that the living being must structurally exist before any tool, measurement, or semantic interpretation can be generated, the dialogue systematically pinned the institutional actor against his own physical operations.
The back-and-forth demonstrated the mechanics of institutional defense: when confronted with an inescapable structural order, the credentialed Observer immediately misinterprets the architecture as historical cliché, throws out low-resolution academic jargon ("multidimensional representations"), and attempts to treat after-the-fact linguistic choices as universal constants.

Making any definitive claim about the true nature of our reality is foolish. It is yet to be elucidated. I'm qualified as a research scientist in neurology, molecular biology and autism. I've seen things science cannot yet explain.

The post’s framing comes from a human being. And they first needed to exist then think and arrive at a conclusion after, in that order. What exactly makes their determination any better or worse that the Greek in the barrel as an example?
Some would perhaps say the difference is science and experimentation compared to philosophy. I’m sure other distinctions would apply. But who is always present to apply science, experiments, and philosophy in the first place? The living being. Always, without exception.
And what are devices, math, rules, measurements, and experimentations? Those are tools applied by people. Those tools did not happen on their own. There is an order, and it starts with the state of awareness and being.
Measurements are after the fact cataloging. And those can never answer more than they were designed by humans to do. All else is filling in the spaces with human imagination. The experiments occur in a closed system and the narratives are validated by skipping the gap between the two.
A calculator is math in and math out. Always. Just like the various devices and apparatuses applied in different schools of research. People add the explainers or interpretations to that. But the bridge between data and explanation is often not built.
That is the case with QM interpretations, and many other domains.

consciousness is not necessarily defined by cognition, therefore I disagree with the premise of the post. What you are asserting is quite vague. The true nature of our reality is yet to be elucidated. That is invariably also true.

You cannot perform that reply without first existing, then thinking, and finally applying a conclusion. In other words, you are affirming a simple and obvious point. In order for you to arrive at a point, you have to first exist. This, without exception. This is a structural reality.
Person 1:
dogs exist but they can't write a reply. I see your point but it's not a great argument. If you're trying to say I think therefore I exist, that's a famous quote. My point is that consciousness is not defined by cognition. Multidimensional representations of consciousness.

I am saying that in order for you to engage with me, a lab scanner, a walk in the park, or catch a movie, there is a first condition. You must exist.
Dogs exist, cats exist, mountains exist, and so do trees and seas. But how do you even know that in the first place without existing? Who named a dog a dog? Who ordered language? Who built the devices used in testing and experiments?
Who concludes with a determination? And what is the pattern that is structurally constant?
You explained that consciousness is not defined by cognition. But those are choices you and others make. Active decisions that define and catalog. I am not saying that doing so is right, wrong, or something other than an after the fact act.
Concluding Notes
A device is a closed loop of human engineering. It is an artifact built to record specific, pre-determined parameters, math in, math out. Because it is entirely downstream of human consciousness, it can never transcend the boundaries of its own design to capture the primary state of awareness that gave it birth. To believe that a downstream device can somehow "elucidate" the primary coordinate of consciousness is the ultimate form of model-object confusion. It is treating the ruler as if it created the space it is measuring, while completely forgetting the hand that holds it.
